What does a four-season tiny home need?

The short answer
Four season is a phrase worth exploring rather than accepting at face value. Comfortable use through changing weather depends on the home, the site, the installed equipment, and how everything is operated. Ask what the phrase means for the exact product you are considering.
Review the whole home
Request the insulation specification for the walls, roof, and floor, along with window and door information. Ask how air leakage and moisture are addressed. These details help explain the design more clearly than a single insulation number.
Review the heating and cooling equipment against the destination. Ask for the actual equipment specification and the professional assessment behind its selection. A general claim about winter comfort does not tell you how a particular system will perform at your site.
Plan protection outside the walls
Water lines, connections, and other exposed components may need destination-specific protection. Clarify what is included at the factory and what your local installer must provide. Discuss drainage, support, and any applicable skirting or anchoring requirements with the appropriate professionals.
Also ask what happens during a power outage or a long absence. Operating and winterization instructions should fit the equipment and your intended use.
Connect the label to written details
Create a short list of your climate questions and request written answers. Separate comfort expectations from structural snow or wind requirements; both deserve attention, but they are different issues.
Snake River Tiny Homes's Extreme Weather page is a useful starting point for discussing available options. Bring your destination into that conversation before selecting upgrades. Shopping from anywhere works best when the home is planned for the place it will actually be used, with the remaining site responsibilities understood.
