Tiny Home Certification
Know exactly what your tiny home is built to, and why it matters.
Schedule Free ConsultationCertification is one of the most important and least understood parts of buying a tiny home. It determines how your home can be financed, insured, placed and lived in. Every Snake River Tiny Homes park model is built to recognized standards, and we believe you should understand exactly what those are before you buy.
Park model certification explained
Park model tiny homes are typically built and certified to the ANSI A119.5 standard and inspected by an independent third party, with NOAH certification confirming the home was built to that code. This is the same framework that allows a park model to be titled, financed and insured.
Certification is not just a sticker. It is proof that your home was inspected for electrical, plumbing, structural and fire-safety requirements by someone other than the builder.
Why it matters for you
The right certification is what makes a tiny home financeable, insurable and accepted in RV parks, on private land and in many ADU programs. A home without proper certification can be difficult or impossible to finance, insure or place legally.
When you work with Snake River Tiny Homes, we walk you through the exact certification on your model and what it means for how and where you can use your home.
