What Should You Confirm Before Your Tiny Home Is Delivered?

The short answer
Before tiny home delivery, confirm that the property allows your intended use, that the carrier can access the site, and that the agreed site preparation and utility arrangements are ready. Finalize the home specifications and delivery scope with the team so everyone understands the plan.
Shopping can happen from anywhere. Delivery brings the project to one specific place, and that place needs attention early.
Is the home allowed on the property?
Identify the authority responsible for your parcel and ask about the home you plan to place there and how you intend to use it. A general statement about a city or state may not settle the answer for your property.
Use our zoning directory to begin researching. If your community is not listed, it may mean we have not completed the research. It does not automatically mean a park model cannot work there.
Confirm the applicable approvals with the local authority before treating the destination as settled.
Can the delivery vehicle reach the placement area?
Discuss the route into the property with the delivery team. Gate openings, turns, overhead obstacles, slopes and the condition of the access area can affect the plan.
Share photographs and measurements when requested. Ask the carrier or delivery team to establish the access requirements for your specific home; do not rely on the fact that an ordinary car or pickup can reach the spot.
Our transportation page explains how delivery planning fits into the purchase.
What needs to be ready at the site?
Agree on the placement area and the preparation required for your project. Confirm who will complete each task and when it needs to be finished.
Discuss the site surface, leveling or support arrangements and any local installation requirements with the responsible professionals. Ask which tasks are included in your delivery agreement and which remain yours to arrange.
A delivery date is more useful when it is tied to a site readiness checklist.
How will utilities be connected?
Plan water, wastewater and electrical arrangements before delivery day. The requirements depend on the property, selected home and intended use.
Review our utilities information as a starting point, then obtain the project-specific requirements from the relevant providers and qualified local professionals. Confirm who performs the connections and whether inspections or approvals are required.
What should be confirmed with Snake River Tiny Homes?
Review the final model and selections, destination, delivery quote, scope of service and expected timing. Tell us if access, approvals or preparation plans change.
Keep contact information for the people handling local work and establish how delivery will be coordinated with them. That gives everyone a common plan rather than a set of separate assumptions.
If you are still choosing the home, start with the video tour and Build and Price. When you are ready to discuss the destination, contact our team. Buying with confidence includes preparing for the day your home arrives.
