Park model tiny homes for Lyons buyers
Snake River Tiny Homes is based in Rigby, Idaho, and delivers park model tiny homes to Colorado. Buyers can compare the Trailblazer, Outpost and Scout, then customize the model that best fits their household, property and budget.
The Trailblazer starts at $126,945, the Outpost at $122,945 and the Scout at $92,945 before optional upgrades. See the tiny home price comparison for a side-by-side look at what is included.
Plan for foothills weather, wildfire and site conditions
Lyons sits at the edge of the Front Range foothills, so a buyer may need to plan for winter weather, wind, wildfire exposure, floodplain conditions and site access in addition to ordinary zoning and utility questions. The Town adopted Colorado's Wildfire Resiliency Code with an effective date of July 1, 2026, and properties in the floodplain can require a floodplain development permit in addition to other permits.
For colder properties, our Extreme Weather Package costs $5,850 and includes upgrades that total $6,850 when purchased individually, for a $1,000 package savings. Whether those upgrades are appropriate depends on the exact site and local requirements.
Lyons has a specific Tiny Home on Wheels ADU pathway
The Town of Lyons publishes an ADU guide that identifies a certified Tiny Home on Wheels as one form of accessory dwelling unit. Current Town materials define a qualifying Tiny Home on Wheels as a dwelling built on a permanent chassis with wheels, no attached motor, residential appearance and manufacturer certification to the applicable ANSI, NFPA and NEC standards.
The Town's current materials limit a Tiny Home on Wheels to 400 square feet and 17 feet in height, require Town utility connections, require screening of the wheels and running gear, and require the unit to be secured to withstand specified wind loads. Approval also depends on the parcel's zoning and the Town's ADU review requirements. A Tiny Home on Wheels ADU may not be used as a short-term rental.
This is a Town of Lyons pathway. A property outside town limits is governed by Boulder County or another jurisdiction and should not be assumed to follow the same rules. See our Lyons zoning guide for the detailed pathway and our Colorado tiny home laws guide for statewide context.
Snake River Tiny Homes provides general information to help buyers navigate placement questions, but this is not legal advice. Buyers are responsible for confirming current requirements with the jurisdiction that controls their property.
